Tabnie is a twice nominated Emmy reporter who has received personal honors from the Indiana Society of Professional Journalists for breaking news coverage in 2012 and 2013. She's also been a part of SPJ and Associated Press Team Awards for Best Newscast, Best Coverage of November 2013 tornadoes and Best Coverage of a December snow and ice storm.
Tabnie graduated Cum Laude from Western Kentucky University in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast News and a Minor in Spanish. She is a thriving entrepreneur, dynamic public speaker and community leader. Tabnie is a dedicated and active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, a historically black public service organization made up of more than 300,000 college educated women. From volunteering at nursing homes, sending care packages overseas to mentoring our youth, Tabnie is committed to helping our community both locally and globally.
She loves cheering on her Kentucky Wildcats, playing basketball and exploring Reno.
