TABNIE DOZIER

I am an Emmy-Award winning Journalist with more than a decade of experience. I'm also a dedicated philanthropist, eloquent host, content creator and a fighter for equal rights for women and minorities. Story-telling is my passion.

 

I contribute content for Essence Communications Inc. When I can put the pen or camera down, I love serving in the nonprofit sector. I have served as President of the Board of Directors for Dress for Success Reno-Northern Nevada, and I am a Founding Board of Director. I've had the honor of spear-heading unique fundraising opportunities, developing and executing strategic planning and managing finances and programs to help women escape poverty and achieve economic independence.

 

Vlogging has become a magnificent endeavor that allows more creativity and freedoms than traditional local news. Sharing my peaks and valleys, I hope, continues to inspire and lift others to chase their dreams and never let anyone confine you to a "box."

 

I graduated Cum Laude from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast News and a Minor in Spanish. GO TOPS! I've been labeled a dynamic public speaker, entrepreneur and community leader. I pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and also serve as an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
